Corporate History
Mr. E.G. Meybohm, President, founded Meybohm Realtors in 1977 when he purchased Southern
Finance Corporation, a local real estate, insurance, and finance company founded by
William A. Garret in 1905. It was Mr. Meybohm's vision that Meybohm offered buyers and
sellers professional and caring service by qualified professional agents and staff. Mr.
Meybohm's vision set the pace for Meybohm Realtor's unprecedented growth from one
location to seven state-of-the-art offices, employing over 300 agents.
